Hi, I’m Chester,

AND I’m a film & television editor.

I grew up in England playing rugby at an all-boys grammar school.

I started playing poker when I was 17. Then I taught my friends how to play. Then they got better than me. Now I don’t play as much.

My first professional editing gig was for Court TV. On my lunch breaks - in a desperate attempt to do something creative - I practiced street photography every day for a year. I haven’t taken a good picture yet but I feel like it’s coming.

I’ve edited films and television for major studios including Netflix, Paramount, and Disney-Hulu, working across multiple genres ranging from crime comedy to high-budget fantasy and action. Big-budget genre pieces are my jam, but I’m down to work on anything with a good team.

I’m kinda obsessed with the craft of effective cinematic storytelling and I’m always down for a nerdy discourse. I log every film I watch, and I’ve convinced myself that this will be helpful some day.
